Sienna Driver-side And Passenger-side Small Overlap Comparison

Toyota made improvements to the Sienna in 2015 to perform better in driver-side small overlap crashes. A new test of the 2018 Sienna shows the same protection hasn't yet been incorporated on the passenger side.

"A safety cage must be strong enough to resist intrusion in a crash to protect the people inside, no matter where they sit in the vehicle," says David Zuby, IIHS' chief research officer.
